The project is spearheaded by Emilio Mantero-Asteinza MD, PhD. His combined specialty of Psychiatry and Neurology combined with over 300 Clinical Trials under his belt, make him the ideal leader for a Neuro Science project.
The in-house members of the leadership crew include an array of physicians, coordinators, raters and research scientists. The academic and clinical staff include seasoned support staff to compliment and expert frontline and back end administrative department. That’s why we’ve built robust research programs in epilepsy, memory disorders, bi-polar disease, stroke, post- traumatic stress, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders and interventional neurology, and of course depression.
We participate in national and international trials and partner with organizations like the National Institutes of Health, University of Miami the Florida Stroke Registry and Florida International University and Centers for Disease Control; to find new and effective treatments for a variety of neurological conditions.

Neuroscience is a distinctive branch of Life Sciences which deals with the full gamut of the structure, function and physiopathology of the nervous system. At the Floridian Neuroscience Institute our research team is focused on finding innovative alternatives to current diagnostic and therapeutic regimens.
